If you rejected playing Terraria because you thought it was just a knock off version of Minecraft, then you missed out on one heck of a game. If you are a Minecraft lover, or you like the game play of this genre, with the building, and the creation of weapons, and armor, to be able to advance, then this is the game you have been waiting on.

Re-Logic developed this game, and it has a good place in the genre of adventure games. They just released this game this year in May, and most of the people who have played will tell you don’t try it, go ahead and buy it.

Concept
The story involved in the makeup of the game is rather vague, but you are immersed in a world that was randomly generated, and is full of living things like trees, and animals, and assorted types of plant life, and one truly strange little person. Your main purpose in this world is to survive. That’s right, survival is the purpose of playing, so you must build things, dig for things, discover, and unearth things, while you avoid being killed by zombies, and demons, and other unspeakable ghouls.

The concept of the game is not exactly an original idea, but you will find that this is not just a boring imitation of the games that came before it. There are plenty of different twists, and turns, and unexpected outcomes from actions that will make this game original enough to receive a thumbs up from the players.

Graphics
These are not the absolute best graphics you will ever see in a game. They are not the worst graphics you will ever see in a game either. Most people will enjoy the game just as much with the lesser graphics, because what the designers lacked in graphics, they made up for in content of play.

Sound
You will find the soundtrack that this game has to be rather memorable. They have included the spooky sounds for whenever you get to a piece of land that is corrupted by evil, or when you start to enter what are the deepest areas on the map. When a dangerous enemy is near you will be warned with music that symbols the fight is coming. The musical sounds are well suited to each individual situation you will encounter.

Playability
You will find the game easy for almost everyone to play. There are multi player options that make this game more fun, and more unique, and for all you retro gamers that can recall a plumber we all loved that ran around chasing an ape, then you are going to find playing to be like a walk in the park.

Entertainment
The entertainment value of this game is by far the best part of it. There are countless hours of activities included that you can do to keep you from getting bored with the play of the game. You have to do some rather tedious things towards the end of the game in order to earn some of the more powerful items you will need to fight with, but these tedious actions appeal to some people. They do give this game a challenging air.

Replay Value
If you were rating this games replay value on a points scale from one to five, with one being the worst, you would have to award this game a good 4.5 on replay. The game has so many different aspects that you can learn about, and different things you can do that are not absolutely mandatory to getting to the end, that it is impossible really to make the game play exactly the same every time. This means playing the game repeatedly will not be boring, especially when you factor in the multi player options, and the many different ways the additional player will change the game.
